We are unique in the fact that we are the only kindergarten in New Zealand attached to a Teen Parent Unit, also offering community spaces.

We welcome enrolments from children from six weeks of age up to 5 years.

Our ratios are in excess of Ministry of Education requirements which reflect our commitment to quality.

The primary care giving approach and the essence of the Pikler philosophy is reflected in our interactions with children and is visible in our environment.

Where possible in our environment, we have chosen to use natural resources and equipment to enhance children's connection and appreciation of nature.

We recognise the importance of information communication technologies ( ICT's) as a means of keeping in touch with modern families and as such offer Facebook and texting as an effective communication tool.

Philosophy

Through a primary caregiver approach, we give respect and understanding to each child's unique character by providing a calm, quiet and unhurried environment, where children are able to experience wonderment and awe without interruption.

Through collaboration with parents, whanau and the community the kindergarten will be a place where children and adults learn and grow together.
