- An holistic, positive approach to each child's learning and development which promotes confidence, high self-esteem and happiness;
- An open partnership with our parents, offering regular feedback and family support;
- A unique buddy system with the local school (which aids in the transition process);
- Term newsletter; and
- an individual portfolio for each child.
Teachers
As teachers, we have a hands-on approach to learning. This encourages children to develop their observation skills by doing many types of activities; using the five senses, kinaesthetic movement, spatial refinement, fine and gross motor skill coordination. We support children to build or construct their knowledge of the world as active learners, discovering things through direct experience with people, objects, events and ideas. Children learn best while pursuing their own interests while being actively supported and challenged by the teachers.
